Los Encinos Living History Day Easter Egg Hunt
Living in Encino has many perks and one of them being the Los Encinos State Historic Park. This little gem, located at the corner of Balboa and Ventura Blvd., takes you back to the 1700's. Now while this park is a pleasure to visit any day it is particulary fun for their Easter event.
This is the park's most popular annual event has been a tradition for decades. In addition to egg hunts for ages from toddlers to 10, the afternoon includes traditional games, a blacksmith, old-time music, tours of the historic adobe, and performers in period costume.
Although admission is free, donations of any amount are welcome.
Please bring baskets for the egg hunts, which are grouped as follows:
1:30: Toddlers 2 and under (in the corral)
2:00: Kids 3 and 4 (in the corral)
2:30: Kids 5-6 (in the orange grove)
3:00: Kids 7-10 (in the orange grove)
