Mayonnaise is a great way to garnish a sandwich, but the tasty condiment can also be used for much more around your kitchen. Mayo can be a do-it-all, chemical-free cleaning tool that can help get you out of a jam. Here are three weird, yet useful ways to use mayonnaise in your apartments.
Cleaning Crayon Stains: if you have a kid that loves to draw on walls—actually don’t all kids do that?—then spread some mayo on their latest masterpiece and let it sit for a few minutes. Scrub it off and wipe it down with a wet rag and your wall will be as good as new.
Squeaky Doors: if you are out of WD-40 and need to quiet a squeaky door, mayo works great as a lubricant.
Removing Stickers: if you are looking to remove stickers or price tags try rubbing a bit of mayonnaise and scrubbing it off.
